hey thanks for the input. yeah i train 70-100 miles a week and i think a 50 is a good starting place. plus i'd like to be able to run a lot of my life... those 100's seem really tough on the body

So I just completed my first Ironman...that's 2.4 miles swimming, 112 cycling and 26.2 running (full marathon). So my dad had a stroke. He was terrifically healthy but had preventative surgery on a heart valve. 3 weeks later it caused a massive stroke. The stroke damaged his thalamus and he might never be able to wake up. It is so frustrating to think that, if he had not had the surgery, he would be fine, or that if he did not have the damage to the thalamus, he would wake up with only limited damage.
Planing and planning for the Italy trip. Either I should have someone else do it or start a travel agency.
Went to Laguna Seca this weekend and Ferrari brought over the 2003 F1 car plus Andrea Bertolini, the factory test driver. He did screaming, out of control fast demo laps. You gotta love that.
