What the fuck is the deal with men?
My boyfriend of 7 years (4 of them living together) wants us to buy a house together. After giving it some thought, tonight, I told him that I wasn't buying a house with him unless we made some serious decisions about our future.
By that, I meant coming to a decision about marriage. He knows that's what I want eventually, but he won't even commit to SAYING whether he wants to or not. Ever.
He tried to side-step the issue again, but I wouldn't let him. Finally, he said I was putting too much pressure on him. WHAT?!? I only bring up marriage about twice a year. Most guys should BE so lucky!
Guys, listen. You need to be point-blank about these things. If you don't want marriage, that's FINE, but make a fucking decision either way. Just dragging it on like this feels like a slow slaughter.

Will you marry me?
I mean how long does someone expect to kinda just be that boyfriend/girlfriend thing... and it's not a societial pressure (often the claim).... it's the difference between being bound together with a rubberband vs. chains (good chains ya know).... it turns things concrete, and opens up new horizons and opportunities of course all this hinges on the 'right' person.
All you can do it talk about it.... or try i guess... (i'm probably no help... i just live with a dog and a bunch of cats... so, um.. nevermind)
