So I'm sitting here, trying to mentally prepare myself for this mission in 4 hours. All the briefings thus far have said something to the tune of "You will most likely be shot at, bombed, or attacked in some other way during this mission." Duh. Where did you think this mission was taking place? But the one they're talking about is our new mission, which is moderately more dangerous, since we're in one of the hot-spots. So I've cleaned my room, so there's less to send home if I don't come back, and cursed myself for all my mail that I didn't get sent off and all the books/movies I've purchases but haven't finished or even started. Blast me for a fool!! Other than that, I drank a Code Red earlier, and it's still somewhat in my system.
I watched Population 436 (Fred Durst is in it, but miraculously didn't die. A pity) and Hard Candy today. I'm a sucker for horror flicks, psych thrillers, and racing-heart inducing pieces of cinematic doom. Hard Candy was interesting, but I wasn't as shocked as the blurb said I would be. Still a good movie, though. Population 436 had a bad ending, but an otherwise okay plot. As a bonus, Fred Durst plays a weenie with a slight lisp. I'm not a fan of the Durst, if you haven't noticed. Oh, I also watched Disturbing Behavior for the first time, and it was enjoyable. By no means a classic, but it was entertaining.
It's now 0238, and I need to get SOME sleep before mission, or else I'll be groggy, and that isn't a good thing to be when bullets are flying around. It's interesting what you can get used to, though. So I'm'a get sleep. See you around.
