How open is too open? When does it become someone they are banging and someone they want to share deep thoughts with? Can we share ourselves freely with two people?

I ask this all in questions, as I look outside myself for the answers.

The subject of monogamy has come up a lot lately (with friends and coworkers). I think the world may idealize it, thinking it works, but the reality is something different. At this point in the evening, the world knows about the loss of Johnny Cash. I read it first thing on the NYTimes website <smearing sleep from my eyes> and dressed in black today to mourn the loss of one of the greatest country singers, ever.
