sometimes I feel a little out of my skin. How is it that movies and books can so vividly bring out fears, and yet the real thing never does, well maybe.
Not like that....I just turned off the Aviator because the decent into "madness" was too real for me. I have walked into anatomy labs full of headless corpses, but somehow the feeling of being out of balance affects me so much more.
Have you ever thrown pottery? Have you ever spun the wheel as fast as possible, and put so much effort into centering the pot, only to watch it spin around in asynchronous rotation. That image haunts me, a swiftly turning nonsymetrical ball of clay
