So I should update my profile to include that two of my favorite movies are the crow and the count of monte cristo. after my exam was over yesterday i sat around and watched tv. and wow, i had never seen the new count of monte cristo, and was terribly impressed. and of course the crow is just a great movie in so many ways. i actually really like movies with extravagant costumes, so yeah, monte cristo....nice. also, the way movies can create the embodiment of revenge in a character is beautiful. books do it as well, but i think in movies, because they are so one dimensional, they allow for the imagination to run wild with a character, who is really given to us without actually having to use our imaginations. it's (obviously) book lite. i'll take a book anyday, but for a snapshot of visionary revenge. The Crow. That and it has one of the best soundtracks EVER. it's a beautiful day in florida. cheers.
