This is kind of weird...but what I learned from being in a relationship with someone who just KNEW he was going to end up leaving anyway, i decided that what i'd do with people like that in the future would be: leave them first.

I konw a lot of people think it's naive to enter a relationship thinking it's going to be a permanent one. But I think unless you are in that way of thinking, you aren't really in the relationship at all. You have to allow yourself to believe or at least hope that the person you love will be the last person you love, otherwise there's no point.
