My Canon A75 has been broken. I took it in to the shop today and they said about $150 to fix it. I'm not going to spend $150 to fix a 3.2 MP cam, when a new 5 MP starts at a little more than that.
I upgraded. A LOT. I've been wanting to move up to a digital slr for some time now, and have been researching them lately... and I ended up coming home with this....
I had found it cheaper online, but I paid the extra $ to a small local camera shop, because I'd rather have someone local to run to when I need help with it. They also throw in free cleanings and inspections for life, as well as a 10% discount on all accessories like lenses, battery packs and bags. That was worth the extra to me. Now my poor cats are pissed because I've been chasing them around with it all afternoon!
