I'm so excited for my trip! I'm SO excited for my trip! I'M SO EXCITED FOR MY TRIP! Sarah and the dogs and I are going to pack up the truck and drive down to AZ in Dec. I have a whole week and a half off work! Road Trip. It just totally takes me back to being 19 and not having a fucking care in the world, and seeing new places for the first time, and smelling different air, and the thrill of the freedom. It's been way too long since I've had a good interstate road trip! I wish we had more time... we are actually going for a purpose in AZ, so that will eat time, but we still hope to make good enough time to stop and play at a few spots along the way.
Any suggestions? It'll probably be a straight shot down I5, stop at Grant's Pass. On to SF area, then Carmel Valley for another stop. Then on to Scottsdale. Def gonna hit the Monterey Bay Aquarium again.... and I wish we had the time to drive down the coast... maybe on the way home? Anyway, I don't care HOW we go, we must just GO!!.

Have a great road trip! I would love to go on one again. It really is a great feeling of freedom and possibility. Enjoy your time on the road, and enjoy the sights. I loved the Grand Canyon in AZ, and just seeing the cacti landscapes made me happy too. I actually really love the desert. It strangely feels like home to me, even though I have lived this whole life in the NorthEast.
