Little delayed, but a lot of my resolutions are centered on creating... so I made a 2020 poster thing about optimistic creation.
The process for making this was something I call "Automatic Design," after the surrealist "automatic drawing." Idea is going into the piece with only a vague idea or direction maybe, and just chaotically moving shapes around and letting the concepts take form on their own. I keep saving off new versions whenever major changes occur to show a bit of the flow (albeit this one was pretty straight-forward). I want to do more of these in the new year and combine the previous versions of a design to a gif showing the progress towards the final.
Some of the designs will ideally make it to sticker format cause who doesn't love stickers ^_^
