I've spent a lot of time over the past week or so thinking about what I could do for a set that would get accepted. I've been told that I need to incorporate a story, follow a plot, use a theme. So...I was thinking about that and came up with a few ideas that I thought would be pretty good.
But in my time searching here and exploring girls' sets, they've all either been done or variated upon. Not that they knew that I was going to have that same idea in the future so I don't blame them in any way. But examples:
I thought, hey, my favorite book in the world is White Oleander. So I thought maybe I would do that, shoot with that book somehow. But Texas' first set, she shot with her fave. book.
So then I was thinking, well. OOH! I LOVE Super Nintendo. I'll do something like that, shoot with my old skool gaming sysytem. But Kiscica has already done that with the Original Nintendo. And it's a beautiful set, might I add.
And then, I was in the shower this morning and I was thinking that I wanted to take a bubble bath. And then the lightbulb went on over my head and I said to myself, DUDE! Shoot a bubble bath set.
But as I was surfing along, I found that Twwly's first set she did with a bathtub, and I know that there's another one as well. Neither of the two are bubble baths though...maybe that could work out.
I also kind of wanted to do one with a phone, but there was one with a phone that was just rejected. So I probably won't be doing that. I kind of wanted to shoot one in a dressing room of sorts, but it would seem backwards becasue you're supposed to get DRESSED in a dressing room, not naked. I don't know...
I get really scared when I think about what ideas I've had, because I'm absolutely terrified of rejection, and I've already been shot down 4 times here.
Oh yeah, and I can't think of a good name for me when I get accepted. Because like I said before, all of the names I wanted have been taken.
On a good note, I might get to see Texas tonight. So that will be fun.

don't worry about doing something someone else did, just don't make it the same. like say we're doing alice in wnderland.. someone did that uh oh! this time make YOURS dark and devious, change it around. get what i'm saying??? you're sooo pretty and we KNOW it's not that you're not pretty enough to make your pics work.. i can imagine how frustrated you are!! keep tryingggggg and try often haha
