T and I are 10 hours, and 6100 miles apart. My life is slowly de-evolving into that of a bachelor, right before my eyes. The fridge is emptier every day, the bed messier, the bathroom filthier. I try to keep to the routine, clean, shop, wake up on time for work. I even turn the kitchen light out - the one T always asks me to turn out because it shines too brightly in her eyes.
Living alone is at times liberating, but it also makes me realize how incredible her presence in my life truly is. We are strong as individuals, but invincible as a team. The three months are going to be hard. Talking once a week, emailing once every few days. I'm glad she was able to quit her awful job, and that she got a chance to bask in the mediterranean sun once again, but I miss her more than words can say.
Here's to October, when I will see her again.
