On Saturday night I made a rare apperance at a co-worker's party. I tend not to party with my co-workers because they take it to a whole new level. I like a good party, just not the kind where they tend to go. They did have one cool thing. They had a HUGE block of ice with a snake like carving in it. You pour alcohol in the top and it makes it's way down the block to the end where a person is waiting with lips against the ice to recieve the alcohol. It's kinda neat and a great way to cool down a drink.

After that we ended up at **'s Showclub. One thing I will not stand for is a club where they jack the heat up in order to sell more drinks. They did that. At $18 per mixed drink, they can afford AC. So, the second I walk in the place I was ticked. Then I noticed people taking off their cloths that really should not be naked in public. I mean really. Look at me. There is a reason I don't wear Speedos. Then I saw them. Over in the corner.... male strippers. That was the last straw. While I am jealous of their washboard abs and rugged good looks, I'm not down with watching male strippers. So, I left the group and went outside. I really wanted to go to All Stars (you Denver folk probably know it). Since I had the keys and was driving, they had little choice.

We got to All Stars and all was right in my little world. Cool air temprature, excelent music, speedy drink service, beautiful women and one lovely lady that should be on the SG website.

At closing time I got to drive all my drunk co-workers home. I was instantly gald it was not my car when one of them rolled down the window and puked on the side of the truck I was driving.

At 2:30am I dropped off my last co-wroker (it was his truck I was driving) and he decides to light off some fireworks in order to wake up the neighbors. He lit off one screaming bottle rocket thing but I diddn't stick around to see the results of that.

I had an old freind of mine with me as the other sober guy in the group. By the time we dropped of my last co-worker and got my truck my friend had to drive. I had nearly fallen asleep while on route to get my truck. We went to his palce 30 minutes away and he got out. I had eaten two snickers bars and that woke me up for the 7 minute drive home. I got home, took the dog out and hit the sack. It was 3:30am Sunday morning. I got up at 4:30am Satruday morning for work. Little wonder I was so tired.
