Stopped by BK drive-thru for dinner last night. I ordered a chicken sandwich, 8 piece nugget and diet coke (because I'm watching what I'm eating. ....lol ) They rang in a root beer because root beer and diet coke sound the same. I get that corrected and pull to the window. Then they tell me they only have 7 nuggets and ask if that is ok. God knows I'd live a longer life without the greasy crap they sell, but I'm paying for 8, I expect 8. This restaurant has a history of fucking up orders*. If there was a world championship of fucking up orders, they would be undefeated. So, when I get two red flags, I bail. I told them to cancel the order and left. As I was waiting to turn out of their lot, I realized that if they only had 7 nuggets, they've likely been sitting there for awhile and they didn't tell me they needed to make more. In the end, 4 red flags. I got a sub at Jimmy John's.
* Seriously, about a year and a half ago, there was a 95% chance they would give me the wrong sandwich. I had to sit at the drive-thru and look at everything to make sure. Eventually they got new managers and it helped, but they still have issues.
