I have my 2018 calendar here and I am about start writing important dates in it. It will be a whole new year. Same ol' orbit around the sun but full of possibilities. In a couple months, my mom finally gets to retire and move to Florida. An exciting change for her. More importantly, no more yard work for me. Woot.
In two days, I start learning actual nursing skills. I have a lot of new things to pack into this silly brain of mine this year. At some point in the spring, I'll learn how to poke people with needles. I'm hoping it will improve my dart game.
So, here I sit, on the cusp of the new year. Adventure awaits.
