While I was on break at 5pm, a co-worker said he heard it was supposed to rain but he hadn't seen any rain all day. I said "we still have 7 hours until midnight."
As I was leaving Kwik Trip, I started the car and Volbeat's song Seal The Deal started playing. Some young guy says "boomers don't listen to rock" and I replied "I ain't no boomer, kid. I'm Gen x." I cranked the stereo and left.

The dude was most likely gen Z and I've seen other accounts of them not knowing the difference. To some of them, anyone with grey hair is a boomer. ...forgotten again. :) To be fair, I have worked with a couple zen Z that were impressed that I listen to modern rock at work (and not classic rock).

I was going to walk to the grocery store (a block away) to get a couple items. The store is a block away and I walk through the woods to get there. We had temps in the 80s last week, but this week, winter has returned and we are having a snow storm. I got to wooded area and found the path flooded.
