So I just lost one of my three jobs. I guess you could say I was laid off, though technically it was freelance. So there goes one third of my already overwhelmingly inadequate income. I know that times are hard all over, but somehow, believe it or not, that doesn't make me want to scream and break things any less.

At this rate, there's no way I can go back to school in the fall, or even... well.... you know.... eat.

I had a job interview the other day and made it to the second round of interviews that day. The second interviewer said that things looked really good for me and that they'd call or email me by Friday. It's Friday and I'm refreshing my inbox every 14 nanoseconds and staring at my phone and there are no new messages and the damn cell phone just won't ring.

And even if I get this job, the purpose of this job was to replace my main day job, not my freelance gig. And I can't work my current day job and this new job simultaneously, but somehow I still need to make up for the missing income. And besides, the main reason I'm leaving my current main job is because I don't make enough there or get enough hours there, but at the same time the people in charge there are trying to fuck with my schedule which prevents me from taking good paying work for my OTHER other job (performing). So you won't pay me enough or give me enough hours to survive, but then you ALSO want to stand in the way of me finding additional work to fill in that gap. Totally fair, right? I just can't win.

Sorry to be a downer, guys. If anyone knows of any odd jobs or any other employment opportunities I could look into, please, please, please let me know!
