crowings

I just got back from europe, where I was for a month, and the jetlag is killing me. I'm trying to regulate my sleep with alcohol, but I wake up at 7:30 every morning anyways. It's all right though, I'm pretty much sleep deprived all the time anyway and it gives me the chance to actually accomplish something during the day. sometimes.
Today, for example, I had the privilege to dig a giant hole in my backyard for about 6 hours, which I feel compelled to do because my ass is broke from my trip. I did gain a new appreciation for those old doughboys who dug and lived in trenches during WWI (thanks gents)
I'm a little bit tired and looped out from it all so I'm gonna go shower and head up to my friends cabin for a night of irreverence. we're drinking absinthe, and I'm hoping the green fairy will bestow her blessings on me.
