So I've been fucking up at work lately, which is a new experience for me. Nothing huge mind you, but I'm missing some of the little things that can make the whole machine grind to a halt. For instance, we have the distinct pleasure of flying today. I know, I know; I think it's awesome as well. I spent two weeks or so making sure everybody knew what the window was and when everybody had to report. Everybody except the people that work directly for me. One guy in fact. He found out yesterday. I made an assumption that he'd know he had to be there with us flying. He didn't. Now I feel like an ass. Not enough to tell him not to come in mind you, that's some mother-fuckin' crazy talk there. But an ass none the less.

Perhaps I failed in that because this week was so heinous. I've had to do things, four days in a row, that you don't do in an aircraft maintenance unit. Nothing illegal or unsafe mind you, but counter-intuitive. If you want to know what I'm talking about let me know.

Now for some good news: my arm feels like it's on fire. I'm getting my right sleeve finished up and the work from yesterday is, let's call it tender. You know what I mean, right???
