Ow!

It's cold all of a sudden! Really cold! What's up with that? Oh, yeah...now I remember, it's winter. Dang.

Yesterday I was outside and it was so cold that both my arms broke off and shattered in the parking lot of Goodwill. I had to drive home with my feet. Let me tell you, that wasn't easy.

Yeah, I'm just waiting to start making a little bit more money and start paying off the student loans, then I hope to hunt down a good copy, though I haven't decided whether I'd prefer one of the English editions (which I can read) or one of the Italian ones (which was the original edition). Though of course I may not have much choice.

Alibris and the used/rare book sections of B&N and Amazon did look pretty promising last I checked...

Holiday ho-hum

I got clothes and money (my favorite) for Christmas. The only interesting things about the holiday were getting to see my sister and her deranged cat. I also got to play with her Nikon Coolpix 3200. I want one! My digital cameras suck. She also brought down her really expensive copy of Codex Seraphinianus, which is the weirdest book ever published.

I wouldn't mind getting a copy of that book myself. And, interestingly enough, I have been planning to order some books from that same Italian site (for about 3 years now, I'm lazy). I have about 25 Italian books I'm planning to order, plus a few films... when I get around to it.

Aaahhh!
