So weekly poker game, it was cancelled for awhile, started back last weekend. It is normally on Friday nights, last week and next week it is on Saturday. So we had a decent turn out, 7 of us total. Most of the players I have know most of my life. So it is a good time in general. Early on my middle brother was taken out, he thought he had a different hand than he did. Was pretty comical really. Then a couple hands later I take about $10 from one of the other long time players (Tommy). Tommy does NOT like losing, he is very sore about it. So he lashed out like normal, we all ignored him. He ended up buying in for $35 instead of $20 like the rest of us. I was up and down all evening. Cards fairy was playing tricks on me obviously. So one of our players had his girlfriend there. She played really well, not in a lot of hands though. So when she was unless I had something worth it, I folded fairly quickly. She was the next taken out actually. So that left us with 5.... Chips were circulating pretty well. Next out was the owner of the house we play at. He lasted a good while. Clam/Satan was the next out, he left with his buy in though. We call him that cause he was a little shitbag when he was a kid a.k.a. Satan. And well clam.... Because he clams up and clinches butt together not letting any chips escape. Then it was 3.... I made a pretty good come back, had a few really good hands. Tommy and me went head to head on a couple hands, I bluffed him something good, flexing my chip muscle. So about 20 mins later, we went head to head again. I had pocket 6s, flop was 565.... So I had a boat on the flop. I didn't rush in, I raise a little, Tommy bit. Next was nothing of use, I raised again, he reraised over me. So I went all in, he quickly called. How disappointed he was.... I took all his chips, he was PISSED. That is the way of the game though. So then it was 2..... Me and Paul, he is the one that brought his girlfriend. We went back and forth, but he called a time to cash out and we hit that pretty quickly. So we counted out.... I ended up with a little on a $100. So it was a good night.

Next game should be really big, looking like at least 10 people coming. Some of our old players will be in town for the 4th. Maybe I will do well again. Either way it is fun to play!
