Jehovah's witnesses came today, I thought they were just an urban myth. I tried to be as nice about it as possible after knocking their book back.
"Are you a spiritual person at all?"
"Yes."
"Right, what do you believe in?"
"I try not to. The word believe sort of says that I think it will do the work for me."
I'd recount the rest of the week but every day of it has had a unique feel to it and each feels weeks apart from its neighbours.
I went to see the Edward Scissorhands stage show last weekend, it was pretty disappointing, although I was expecting a lot. The ballet, for what it was, did its job very well. It did the cool ballet thing of letting you know what the story is and what the characters relationships are without anything being said. Problem was they totally missed the point of the story. The guy who played Edward himself was awesome though.
If anyone's in the Valley tonight you should stop by ******* and comment on what a bang up job that new glassy is doing and recommend that they give him a permanent position.

I give the Jehovah's Witnesses 1 chance each year to convince me. I've been doing this for probably about 8 or 9 years... so far they've all failed. They're never prepared for someone to start a serious intellectual discussion. Specially when they're sending 18 and 19 year olds to the door who have 1 or 2 passaged of the bible memorised and a little pamphlet.
