The unspoken noise agreement in my apartment building has been challenged this week. I share a wall, a ceiling, and a floor with 3 neighbours. It used to be that the guy upstairs would have from 5am to 9am to either vacuum or play morning shows at full volume (although once he played The Whitlams which was kind of nice to wake up to actually). Later the girl down the hall would play music from 5pm till 9pm, then I'd usually get the shits with study and start watching movies or playing video games until about 1am. This week the girl down stairs has started to mix things up a bit by sleeping restlessly and agreeing with her boyfriend a whole lot, which both gives me a legitimate reason to turn my music or TV up and makes me feel very lame.

HA HA oh that reminds me of when I lived at my old place... I remember for a year I had a girl above me who wanted to be on Australian Idol. She would practice singing every morning between Monday and Friday from 5 am to 7 am. The next year I had a nudist sexaholic couple who used to run naked around the house together with all the windows and doors open. I once went up to give them their mail and accidentally discovered the girl doing something strange and naked in the kitchen.
