Hey everyone! Long time, I know. Yeah, I said I'd stop blogging on here but considering the circumstances, I figure it's fitting.
Where to begin, where to begin... I can say that it's been a very bumpy road to where I am at this point. After spending a good month in separate homes, Sassie and I have decided to get back together. She's slowly going to be moving back in. She's been spending the night here and there, which is nice. I missed her a lot.
So other than that business, what have I been up to? Not a whole lot really. I've been working. Hanging with old friends I haven't seen in awhile, hanging with new friends I made along the way. I, along with 2 guys in my band, is starting a side project of sorts that will probably be like Isis and Katatonia. That should be interesting.
I just saw Zack and Miri Make a Porno yesterday. It was a really good movie. I love Kevin Smith movies though, so it was nice to see a new story, fresh actors and good old familiars. I don't think I could handle another movie with Jay and Silent Bob.
I've been playing Rock Band 2 and Portal: Still Alive a lot recently. I bought the new Scene It game, so that will be something new to play. Oh and I paid off my reserve for Gears of War 2 and I have off Friday, November 7th so I can go to the midnight release, hang with my friend Chris as we wait for it, pick it up and then stay up late and play it with all our friends online.
Also, that night, an old friend I started to talk to again let me know that after being unemployed for a bit got a job as a chemical engineer in Chicago. So that night (November 7th) is his going away party. It sucks that I just started talking to him again and now he's leaving. He was my best friend in middle school and it will be cool to hang with him one last night til he leaves.
I just got the new Fear Before (formerly Fear Before the March of Flames), and it's REALLY good. It's a little different but at the same time, it's still good ol' Fear Before. The new Copeland CD... I don't have judgment for yet. We'll see.
Alright, well, that's it for now. I'll be updating again of a semi-regular basis.
Oh, and PLEASE go check out Sassie's new set. It's the best set she's ever had and it needs to go live, for serious. Look at her, how can it not?
