EDIT
My band and I use this program called TabIt. Basically, when you write something for guitar, bass, or drums. You can write it out in this program so you don't forget things you wrote and so others that have to learn it can easily see how it's played. It's helped me greatly at not only learning what some of the other dudes in my band wrote, but getting better at playing in general. Since it's so detailed, sometimes we go "OH, that's what you're playing!" or "I was playing this completely wrong and didn't even realize."
Also, you can play it and hear what you wrote in MIDI form. It's pretty silly when you hear it but it's a very good learning tool. There's a whole community on the program's website of people who tab out entire songs by bands and post them so people can download them and learn songs. It's fun.
I went to bed at 2 AM and I'm up already. Arg.
List of things to do this weekend...
1) Go out to eat with Sassie. Double check.
2) Play video games at great length. Check. Gears of War, mostly.
3) Search for a guitar cab. Check
4) Purchase a guitar cab. Waiting to afford the one I really want.
5) Play guitar a lot. Check.
6) Research Tremol-No for my guitar. Check.
7) Get oil changed and tires rotated on my car. Check.
8) Clean the apartment. Check.
9) Edit and arrange songs on TabIt. All the time.
