So, since Sassie and I have moved out May 2007, I've gained back 40 of the 60 pounds I had lost. That's right... I use to be 285 lbs and from dieting, I had dropped to between 220 and 225. I'm now sitting at 265 and I'm completely disgusted with myself. I wish I could blame something for it other than myself, but I can't. It's all my fault. Sassie said about gaining a little too (she was 10 lbs under the weight her doctor told her to be at and now she's where she's suppose to be... pshaw, I say. Pshaw). Has anyone else ever experienced gaining weight after moving out to be on your own?
So I am going back to how I lost the weight the first time... Weight Watchers. I didn't join, I just follow all the stuff. It worked for me before, so hopefully it'll work again. So I have a breakfast and lunch all planned and pointed out since I pack for work. Then I just got to make sure I do my daily food and point journal to keep myself on track. Also, make sure I eat the same amount of points everyday... argh... I just realized why I hate this shit.
But Sassie and I went to the store today, and we checked calories on shit for the first time in awhile. Almost everything we got, really. Wish me luck.
Anyway, off of that subject. I talked to my good buddy Phil who is in the Marines and over in Afghanistan right now. He is doing well, but it freaks me out to find out that 3 dudes were killed in his group while they were out patrolling. He told me they go out for like a week or so "until people start shooting at us". I'm not very political. All I know is that I support the guys over there taking care of business. Whether it is a just cause or not is not for me to decide. He did have a great picture of him crouched down next to 2 kids and all 3 of them were giving the shocker hand sign. Classic.
Welp, it's back to work tomorrow!
