Well its sunday, I made it back home to SA. This weekend I had a kickass time.
Friday night I went to Casino for the SG Austin meetup. Had a great time at Casino with the SG people, plus I had an awesome burger..Good people, good burger, good drinks..how can yu go wrong with a combo like that.
Digital Mortal got there 1st. I talked to him for a while before everyone showed up. H's a cool dude. bUt he failed to slap the huge ass on the wall. -2 for not slapping the ass.
Volkov and Katy got there next. A very cool couple. Volkov was cool. Katy I think was a mute..she didnt say much..lol
Widow came in and proceeded to walk straight past us...We had to send Katy after Widow and her friend/dude Ryan. More cool people to converse with.
Next came Mdog, Maeby and Dangerous Toys. They seemed like cool epople but I didnt get to really talk to them because they were on the other side of the table. Ill need to confirm their coolness at the next meetup.
Next came Gish I believe. Another cool dude. He just needs to work on his arm wrestling skills.
After the meetup, I headed to Dirty Dog to see Freebleeder. It was an awesome set as always.and as always with them, I drank more than I wanted to.
Saturday I went to the TEXAS-SHSU game..well if you can call it a game. The game was over as soon as TEXAS came onto the field. A kind of boring game, but at least there was TEXAS football to be seen. After the game I ended up at Hooter and had a ouple of drinks with my friend.
Sunday I went back out to Dirty Dog and around the Pecan St. Festival deal. The singer for Freebleeder was playin an acoustic set at The Dog so I went to check him out before I came back to SA
All in all it was a very good weekend. I got to met the SG people, got to see Freebleeder, got to pick up my ou ticket on saturday. Saw the TEXAS game and went to Pecan St. Festival. It was a nice little weekend for me.
Now I will be counting down the days till friday. Then I take off to Dallas for ou weekend.
Its 157am and ou STILL SUCKS!!!!!!!! HOOK EM!
