So I finished David Peace's Red Riding Quartet today and, much as I enjoyed it if that's the right word, it did leave me a bit WTF. I may just be a bit slow but if I read a series of four books I don't think it's too much to be a little spoon fed and have more "closure".

If you haven't read them then I'd advisedly recommend them. Not to everyone's taste though and I wouldn't want to see them filmed. Actually they're pretty depressing. Still, worth a punt.
