So I started watching Кодий davinci today but gave up as it had Ruskian subtitles. Quite useless. Me and it.
My employers sent me on some Equality and DIversity training today and I learned that my boss is the 'c' word. I already knew that, it had nothing to do with Equality or Diversity. I also learned that there is a part of the brain which is round in men and ovalish in women and that there are people who have an outward appearance with the opposite gender to this bit of the brain. It was something with "thermos" in it which I thought was what you kept your tea in.
Supposedly you can only uncover what the shape is once you're dead and they can chop you up which is a bit of a bugger. Apparently there is a high proportion of suicides amongst those that have the anomaly. Is it any wonder why.
None of what I learned will be of any use to me in making me better at my job or even as a better person as I already treat everyone equally poorly regardless of sex, colour, religion or creed though I do probably discriminate against gingers. When I say "probably" I of course mean "I discriminate" but that isn't so much of a problem as I do my job over the phone and only detect 1 in 4 gingers which is still a pretty good hit ratio.
The only saving grace of me having to attend is that it was paid for by Council Tax payers and my overtime for the day will also be paid for by Council Tax payers, so always a silver lining.
Apart from that I had a rivetting day. No, I have not taken up ship building in my spare time though that does sound like the life for me. No, I watched the second series of The 4400; a sort of substandard mind meld (or is it cheese melt?) of X-files, when X-files was good, and Taken and Scientology. Third series starts in June in the US of A States. I'm sure the butler did it.
I am considering starting a pyramid sales scheme, if you would like information then forward me 50.
