That was quite a night, folks. And, while the outcome of this whole thing was not what I would have desired, I definitely have learned a bit more about our country as a whole.
Particularly in Michigan, though, I'm disappointed. Proposal 2 saw Michiganders against gay marriage, and this honestly comes as a shock to me. 99% of the people I know are FOR gay marriage, including myself, so I really did not think this would happen. Michigan apparently needs to work on that whole "acceptance" thing a bit more.
I honestly thought the people of our state were far more open-minded that this, but once again, I have been proven wrong. Shame on those who denied a person a chance at a happy union with a loved one.

I've been thinking of this as a business opportunity for a while, but I don't have much $$ for starting up this sort of thing..
