After much discussion, Jessica and I have decided to be friends. So, I am once again single, but not necessarily loving it. I have a feeling I might be too "critical" when selecting potential mates, and in some sense, this is preventing me from having some possibly great relationships. Then again, I am the Master Of Mistakes, so I do have a reputation to uphold.
I've come to the conclusion that X-Box has the poorest game selection of all the available systems. The only thing carrying it in my eyes is that the few good games X-Box does offer me are really good. Too bad there is only about 8 of them. The system and it's associated companies seem to cater to the "shoot first, ask questions later" type gamer, an individual who's entertainment I find intensly boring. I do like to play a shooter here and there, but not every time I sit down with a controller in my hand. Add that to the fact that all their shooters are basically the same game, as well as their racing games, and adventure games, and you can see why I'm distressed by this lack of variety. I gave kudos to PS2 with it's wonderful array of RPG's, and some fairly decent racing games. Gamecube caught my eye with the drive towards more miulti-player and party-style games, intended to bring friends into the same room while enjoying some competition.
True, I'm not much of a gamer, so I probably can't really make any strong arguements as far as technical issues between the Big Three of gaming systems. However, from an average idiot's vantage point, I honestly can't understand why X-Box fans are so violently loyal to their system of choice.
