Ahh...so, I lied. I'm not spending nearly as much time playing Final Fantasy as I thought I would. The game just didn't "grip" me like the old ones did. Perhaps it's my old age, perhaps it's that I'm not as much of a gamer as I used to be. Either way, my roommate plays it more than I do, and even he spends most of his time spray-painting our Moogle and not actually adventuring...

Another part of my negligence of the game is my recently renewed interest in my writing. Inspired by some talent on this very website, I picked up my pen and began scribbling at work the other day. I did have a story in the works about a year ago that I've decided to put some more work into for two reasons:

1. Seeing as it is a "misguided love story", I have some new experiences in that area that I can draw inspiration from...

2. The story involves memory loss and amnesia...I've done more research in these areas that I think will help me write a more "factual sounding" story, given that I have experienced neither one on any level of severity.

I'd like to post some chunks of my writing soon and get some criticism, if none of you folks mind...

I can't wait for the Bulesque show tomorrow!
