Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

Of course, I had to wake up and deal with bill collector this morning, so that was a great start to my day, heh.

Tonight will be a quiet one. I'm super low on cash, and will probably spend what little I have left on comic books or something. A few friends of mine and I intend on having a mini-LAN party since I've got my grandma's giant house to myself this weekend (she's visiting in Chicago and has animals that need to be cared for, so I just stay there when she's away, easier than driving back and forth).

The end of May is apparently party time. I've got three so far to look forward to. Being jobless, I tend to look forward to parties at someone's house more than going to the bar at night. I've got a wonderful liquor stock at my place, and a variety of flasks in which to put them. Plus I feel far better about giving my $5 to someone I know for party expenses/thank you's than just giving it to some bald guy with no neck checking id's at a door so his friends inside can over-charge me for drinks.

By the way, seems you can start quite the raging inferno with pinecones, but the blaze will be short-lived and have lot's of smoke.
