My journey on Friday explained in Smileys

Basically I showed up, and not knowing anyone took forever to muster up the cojones to ask people at a near-by table if they were with the site. Lo and behold I was introduced to Apexxx, Esme, and slumberjacker. I felt settled and as the night went on, more people were showing up. I would be clicking Member Name and typing and hunting aliases down for ages if I wrote everyone who I met in this entry, so....

Anyway, the place went from brightly lit old smokey polish bar, to louder half SG half regular polish patrons bar to smokey dark, very loud/poorly DJed event with tons of hipsters there for a Lollapalooza party.

So yeah, you can pick up specific stories from anyone who was there, but all in all, it was very lovely meeting all of you. And now I have new SG friends. That's right, I'm collecting you mofos like lightning bugs in a mayonaise jar.


Almost forgot to mention: There was some chick with a cane, a pretty bitchin' tattoo and a real attitude there. We thought she was of our ilk, and we said Hello. And she was quite curt, and just hobbled on her not-so-merry way. Thats all.....it was weird
