Well, I got stoned while talking to my buddy Joey. That was nice because we have spent the past year and half together, whether at school or at our summer job last summer (Tecumseh!).

I feel weird writing this and the only reason i think I am doing it is because I am stoned and home alone. I need to express this thoughts out loud. But I am totally not one of thoes journal types, analog or digital.

But I feel like I check this site compulsively, but I don't know how to "get into it." The whole making friends thing online. I can do it alright in person. I'm not big on making my self a digital persona or entity. I have a screenname, but as a projection of my lazy blase self. I put an away message up no matter what. I keep IM up to look, but not really touch.

I think the stoned and my media theory class prompted that paragraph. Wow, so after getting more stoned, I vacuumed in my underwear. I mean it is hot as hell and my dad left me with his place for days. This place is like 8 times bigger than any place I would ever live in.

Ok. i think thats all for the unloading of todays thoughts. I may start to actually interact with this journal thing.

PS- Thanks dearestEMILY for being my first friend. I love Chicago and I know the people are all awesome. Ok, overstatement, but I am Chicago born and raised. This city rocks.
