I didn't feel all that well all day, just kind of logy and achy ... a big grump. I stopped on the way home to get a haircut and there was this kid (-brat-) in the waiting area who I just wanted to punch in the head.

His mother was on the other side of the store staring at the wall of hair-care products while this little snot factory was coughing all over everybody, eating three lollipops at at a time, and basically running amok. At one point, I was trying to read a magazine and this li'l bastard is entertaining himself by sitting in the chair to my direct right counting to himself very much out loud (and incorrectly) while rocking back and forth like Rainman on an airplane glue bender. I thought he was going to induce me to have a seizure (like in that Simpsons episode ... remember?). I actually had to put my hand up next to my eye to block him out of sight. Thankfully (at least for me) he was the next one called for a haircut. The three who remained waiting (myself, an older woman, and a middle aged man) all breathed a sigh of relief and rolled our eyes at his departure.

But it wasn't over ... this kid screamed and struggled his way through his haircut (two stylists calming, one cutting) while the little angel's mother sat complacently in the adjacent stylist chair.

This kid was like four or five years old ,,, I'm sure he's had previous haircuts ... what the fuck? And the oblivious to the "your kid seems to be the anti-christ" mother? again ... what the fuck?

People who can't control their young children piss me off to no end. Yeah, I realize that kids can be difficult at times, but somewhere you've got to draw a line ... or at least recognize the behavior issues.

Anyways ... that was the culmination of my already grumpy day ...
