I quit my job today.
I'm still going to "work" through Friday, but I just couldn't take it anymore.

My recruiter is none too happy with me, as the contract only ran another two weeks, but I just couldn't take it anymore. I had absolutely nothing to do all day other than sit around and hope a server failed ... as a contractor I had no internet access, and my desk was right in the middle of everything. I tell ya ... it's much much harder to act busy than it is to actually be busy.

I just hope I haven't burned the bridge with my current recruiting company because the job market is still shit.

Whatever ... I'm not going to be in the gutter anytime soon, and now maybe I can focus on some long shelved ideas.
