My monitor crapped out Tuesday night ... I was seriously bumming. It had been flaking for a bit and then just pppffffttt.

I found a Compaq 15" w/speakers and built in microphone for $149 at my local Radio Shack ... I also bought the classic handheld Mattell football game ... I can't stop playing the damn thing.

My new monitor makes me feel special ... not 'short bus special', but close.

I think I'm going to hit the Dell store in the KoP mall and get a new machine after work this afternoon ... or at least explore the possibilities. mmmm .... new computer ...

Who else is still running Win95? I can't be the only one ... step up people!

My mom died three years ago today. I'll never forget that day ... I had just had the corporate lunch equivalent of a "holiday meal" and was returning to my cube to find the phone ringing off the hook ...

I have yet to start with my Christmas shopping.
I should be sleeping right now.
I just opened a fresh beer.
I want to be happy again.
