Today is the 17th anniversary of my stroke and the universe decided to congratulate me by giving my boyfriend of 10 years the horrible sickness that's going around. I know what you're thinking, "Well that's not so bad." The universe also decided to dump 8 inches of snow on our town and here in the south we're not used to that so we freak the fuck out. All stores and business close, we ice the roads, and people don't leave the house. As a quadriplegic who can't move enough to do anything for herself, this is disconcerting. This means that most likely my awesome home health nurses won't be able to come in leaving my poor sick as a dog sweetheart to do all of it. He just got up to give me my medicine, (I told you. Total sweetheart.) he immediately had to lay back down due to gagging on his own snot. His only concern is that he will get me sick. I don't know what i'm going to do. I might have to call my dad. That or go to the emergency room so he can rest and I can be taken care of. Happy anniversary to me!
Yes, it could be worse. You could be an eleven year old stroking out in the ER after school one day. Oh wait, been there, done that. LMPAO
