I had a pretty awesome week. It all started on tuesday, when I was still waiting on the details for my graduation, and my degree and certificate. I walked in the college to see when they were sending the degrees out, and when someone heard me say that, the woman at the counter handed me my AA degree right there.
I was so shocked, that I didn't even know what to think. After years of hard work and determination, I had finally gotten my degree. I wasn't sure what would make this day better, until I went to my P.O. Box the next day, and had received my Photographer's Certificate.
Yesterday was also good. I had gone on my first date with a beautiful woman that I work with. She and I hit it off quite nicely, we had a drink, and I drove her home afterwards.
But the biggest moment this week was my Student Art Show at the college. This was something I had been planning for weeks. And I did surprisingly well. I received third place in Painting for my Gouache painting "The Unhealthy Meal"
And a separate award for "Best Rendering Of An Urban Environment" for my Photo series "Prism"
Needless to say, I'm really happy with how this week turned out. And I hope I an take what happened this week, and turn it into an amazing future.
