It's july 4th! I've always sort of associated this day with it truly being the middle of summer. Today is a perfect mid summer day to me. Hot and sunny and some clouds are moving for a little summer shower later.
I figured out how to the the screen out of my back window so I have a nice little exit into my unattractive but sunny back yard. Its just a strip of dead grass with a concrete retaining wall and some trees on the other side. But its in the sun most of the day and I've been out here since 10:30 so I'm enjoying all the lazy day off time I can get.
I have a nice big bag of freeze pops and and dirty book and my laptop so I'm set for the afternoon :-)
