Wednesday:
Got really baked and went to the Gold Star to contemplate life.
A vision of beauty was etched in my mind upon settling on to my bar stool. She was alone as well, only a few seats away
but I was too locked in to my own head to even speak outside of ordering a beer.
She had eyes that I could get lost in for days and the most radiant smile, and hair that framed in her face all to perfectly.
I tried to fight the trance I was in but it was no use. So I record my thoughts in my notebook but ended up with an incoherent stream of chicken scratch and nonsense.
judging from her banter with the bartender she was a neighborhood regular, so all hope is not lost.
Marijuana, Cheaper than therapy and just as effective but it has its down sides too. Hopefuly the next time our paths cross I'll have a clear head.
Friday:
Friday night was a blur... Started out at club foot on "official" band business to discuss the tour. From there we went to The Happy Village where we hit the Jagur with reckless abandon.
At closing time Dave (guitarist) and I were the last two standing so we decided to see where the night would take us so we hit the streets.
Oddly enough we saw some people walking in to a house party so we decided to follow them in. I have no idea where we were but I do know it was somewhere between Augusta and Milwaukee just east of Damen. I think I met some cool people but I cant remember. If it was your party or you were there I just want to say thanks.
I woke up the next morning on the living floor with my pants in the kitchen??? The only thing I had to retrace the previous evening from was a receipt from 711. It looks like I got home somewhere around 5:00 AM with all sorts of snacks.
WTF!!!
Am I'm getting too old for this?
Sorry I didn't make it out to the Liars club last night.
I need to recover.
