I watched a documentary on models last night on A&E.
I was really interesting and really sad at the same time.
My conclusion was that the only models that really have a good time, are successful, and stay healthy are the ones that don't give a fuck and have that good heatedness about at the same time.
But unfortunately not all models can have that I-dont-give-a-fuck attitude because they don't have the "look" needed to get the bookings or be in demand.
Then you have the ones that can't cope and end up anorexic or on drugs.

The funny think about watching models get cast, is that casting directors and fashion designers are some of the ugliest people known to man.
And I don't mean that in the spiritual way or whatever.
Like I'm talking melted ice-cream cones, raisins in the sun, burnt up G.I. Joes ugly. Or wet paper bags full of apples dumpy crumpled up paper dumpy.
And then have the nerve to tell a girl whos a size 0 that she's too fat to be in a bathing suit.

But, it did spark even more interest to be a photographer.
I love pictures so much. And even if the models are really thin, or funny looking sometimes the way they are in a photography makes so much difference.

I really would love to be a designer and be able to tell everyone to fuck off. To tell my assistant that if they bring me one more wire hanger of a woman, I'm going to fire them.
Bring me girls like me.

But I can always take the easy route: Only cast SuicideGirls

Betsey Johnson seemed to be headed in that route but I dunno. Last season I saw the most see through models I've ever seen in one of her shows.

I really like Rolling Stone's pick for Coolest Model of the Year. She was also in the documentary.
She truely does look like Joan Jett and Cher merged into one person and deaged like 40 years.
