Alright you little scamps, Iam in Venice and absolutely loving it.
My friend never showed at the airport, so I am travelling solo. Planning youth hostel stays from night to night. I wish I knew he was going to blow me off BEFORE I left, that way I could have planned to be ping ponging from hostel to hostel.
(Damn I spent three days in a airport for that jerk... from the 27th until the 30th. My plane was cancelled, delayed, and outright a pain in the ass. Four plane changes, lost luggage, overnighter in New York and Venice airport... oh aint we got fun.)
I have been enjoying the weather and the insanely GORGEOUS sites of Venice. I think Florence and Rome are next on the agenda.
Yes, I have a ton of pictures already, but I will not be putting them up until I get home. I hope all is well with you kids and I ll talk to you soon (there isn t an apostrophe key on this bloody keyboard).

That's awesome (not the flying solo part)...are you staying in the hostel that's on the island across the canal from the Piazza San Marco?
