Ahhh what has it been like eight years since I've checked my journal. Jeesh.
This is my ode to quitting. I stopped smoking today, and I hope my health will improve a bit. I think it's time to quit when you have that pressure booming in your chest making it difficult to breathe.
So, Katrina. Yeah it's over. I went back to my appartment in New Orleans last week and had some damage, but I packed up the rest of my crap and moved to Houston with my boyfriend. It has been a bit of a rollercoaster since late August. I am settling into domestic life, and am still unemployed. I promised myself I'd get a few things done before getting another job. Yeah, I'd rather not discuss it, not flowing like I had hoped.
I have missed you all and I am glad to be back for a bit. Thank you all for your words of encouragement and hope!
