Well, it's certainly been a good couple of days. Saturday night I went out with the usual crew along withy a couple of new people who seemed nice. Unsurprisingly Kinto managed to take his shirt off again, although to be fair by this point it's probably more our fault than his, what with all the egging on. greenthought seemed a nice bloke and did awful well for his first meet. Especially considering the shirtless frenchmen and drunken situational homosexuality.

Also, McK and Doplex are gits. Them and their bloody Ivan Drago. Grumble grumble grumble. It's awful easy for a skinhead to take the piss out of people's hair. Knobbers. I MUST CRUSH THEM! Oh wait... I mean... uhhh... fuck.

Additionally, I know I can't help being a hip and edgy trendsetter, but antenna, if you ever turn up to a meet again cutting in on my slick urban stylings, I shall be forced to cut you. Or something.

After that it was onto the Crowbar then home on the night bus, but not before some extreme stupidity around London, including some very drunken free running around Trafalgar Square, that basically amounted to jumping on things then jumping off them again.

Quiet sunday, and then on monday I ahd the interview for the promotion I was going for, and found out that I was, indeed, offered the job. Woo, yay and houpla. So in a couple of weeks time I'll be bidding the library goodbye. It feels like something of the end of an era for me, seeing as how I've basically been a librarian since I started it as a saturday job 6 years ago. Granted, I'll still be working in the libraries and might be doing library stuff every now and then, but from now on I'll be helping manage the open learning center in Pollards Hill. Basically: Helping council estate scum get jobs (and to think I said in my interview that I was looking forwards to the opportubnity to help people with life skills. My God I was on fire, spewing bullshit all over them.) So in a nutshell: Much greater chance of getting stabbed by gang kids VS a lot more money. So woo. I guess.

Right, now, time to go do research on visa-type things for my holiday this summer.If I get any more excited about that, I'm going to wet myself.
