Arrr and avast, so another fun weekend in the company of the SGUK vagabonds. Firday I met up with munch and doplex after work to go see Hero. Creamy's verdict? It's like Zhang Zi Yi and Maggie Chung actually leapt out of the screen to make sweet, tender love to my eyeballs. Drags a little in places, with one too many long, slow, "Look at this gorgeous imagery shots" and a slight disappointment that the very first fight scene is probably the best in the film, but overall I enjoyed it immensely.

Then on saturday there was a small gathering to meet Mnislahi and her beau, who both seemed like absolutely spiffing people, it's a shame they're back off home again so soon. In attendance were Blanco, Cakemix, Ravenisis, Vicky, Neonkick, Troubadour and Abaddon dropped in for a few. I think I had a few too much to drink, as I remember getting drunk and making an absolute twat of myself trying to pronounce Mnislahi's name "So Mini... muni... munu.... muhnuh.... so how are you finding London?" When I got home I spent five minutes on the tube back practising her name should I ever have occasion to say it again, which kind of freaked out the other people on the carriage.
