Well things continue to be fairly nondescript and unexciting on my end. I'm considering attempting a military coup of Bromley just to occupy myself.
The weekend was fun though, met up with the SGUK lot for all the usual fun and frolics. Met them straight after work at our now customary meeting-place, The Ship, for drinkies then went on to a Dropkick Murphys gig with some of them.
The gig was amazing fun, even if I did get seperated from the likes of the lovely mariana, partiallyblind, munch, geronimo, abaddon and anyone else I've surely forgotten. The ambience around me was fantastic, even if it did lead to some random Irish guy putting his arm round my shoulders for most of the gig and singing along with me.
After that it was back to the pub for yet more drinking and merriment. There were an awful lot of new people in attendance, so big sloppy hugs and kisses to the following (via blow-up doll proxy in the case of the guys): nonchalence, G1 and razorpsych. Big apologies to all the people I didn't get a chance to talk to as much as I would have liked, such as India, Kate and untamed_beauty (who I didn't even realise was there untill afterwards. Oops.). Also noteworthy was the appearace of SGUK's spiky-haired sasquatch, learoy who promptly went on to dance around like a lunatic and get friendly with blueeyedsuicide in a phone booth. God bless im.
And just to perfectly finish off the day, I found out when I got back home that I now have a new little baby cousin, a little girl born perfectly healthy and withhout any complications
They're not definite on the name yet, although it looks like it's going to be Leah, which I have mixed feelings about. Anyone round here have any suggestions?
