HAVE YOU JUST HAD YOUR APPLICATION TO SGUK REJECTED?

Take heart weary travellers! I have just deleted the application of every person who has an application pending to SGUK that has not yet been accepted. None of you are banned, or turned down, you are free to re-apply to the group immediately

What's the point of that then?

The list of people needing to be vouched into the group had become so large and unwieldy, that it was difficult for people to find the members they wanted to vouch in. The list needed to be brought back down to managable levels to make vouching you lovely people in smoother and easier. As counter-intuitive as it seems, turning you all down makes it easier to get you back in.

So what do I do now?

Just re-apply to SGUK again and you'll go straight back onto the next vouch list. You can do this immediately. As in right now. Go on, I'll wait.

But if everyone can re-apply, what good does it do?

There are always going to be the people who click the button to apply, but aren't really serious about it, or don't want to make the effort to socialise, or just don't really come on the site that much, this will cut them out of the equation.
