GYARGH! Well I just accidentally deleted an entire entry by accident. As such I won't bother retyping the whole thing. To summarise the beginning, I had a lovely and eventful few weekends hanging around outside the tattoo festival, enjoying druinks and shennanigans with all inside. The next weekend I went down to Brighton and enjoyed the company of Caramel, Midwinter, toneeblair, Nic, Traumatron, thesnowdetective, Dylan and fresh meat DLAF. The weekend was spent kicking everyone's ass at Guitar Hero, drinking heavily, feeling slightly superior to holding my booze muich better than Nic and Colin and dancing like a retard to Meat Loaf, Tunak Tunak and various other things.

I hav also decided to bring back the triumphant return of...

Big Poppa Creamy's Audiogoodness!

Yes folks, it's back, and for those of you who missed it the first time round, this is where I bring to you the very finest in digital music entertainment using my truly immensely good taste and discernment. I have to do it abit differently now as I have lost acces to my webspace, so I uploaded a zip with the three files to speedyshare

The Lawrence Arms - Recovering The Opposable Thumb
Lawrence Arms strike me as a band perpetually on the edge between emotional fragility and snarling hostility, like a kicked puppy. They're also prone to occasional bursts of lyrical and hookical (is that a word? Probably not, but fuck you anyways) genius, Alkaline Trio witha skateboard, a switchblade in the pocket and a mean look in their eyes. I only started listening to them recently but fell for them hard. This song in particular is off their latest album and it's a teetering stumble through a life of degredation and desperation that makes me want to run around in circles and punch people in the face

"This is not a celebration of slipping through some crack
This is sloth and degredation and we're the resulting trash"

FUCK YES.

The Loved Ones - Arsenic
I'm going to slow down a little now and even, dare I say it, get a little emo. The Loved Ones is another band I've started listening to recently and they're right on the edge of my comfort zone between emotionally intense punk rock and silly haircuts. Thankfully there's a sincerity and soulful drive to their music that stops me going off it, along with the catchy guitar work, pounding drums and worn, gruff sound of the lead singer's vocals. Arsenic's one of my favourite songs off their recent album, it's good stuff, give it a go.

Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell
Oh yeah? Well fuck you too buddy. Meat Loaf forms an important part of my childhood, it was the first concert I ever went to. My mother was two months pregnant with me at the time and had to be told by my dad to stop dancing lest she give me brain damage, although if she had, it would surely have been the most rock and roll brain damage ever. Dancing like retards with Nic and Caramel (including some rather stunning pole-dancing that attracted something of an audience) at a classic rock night recently made me realise that I had denied my upbring for too long. I needed more 'loaf in my life.

Hey, it's cool, I'm glad to have no ties to my Irish family because they look ever so slightly inbred. Thanks for the niceties.

smile I imagine I will be renewing once I sort out my debit card. I did enjoy the single meet I went to and I think it would be nice to go to more and hang.

Curse this site for being so addictive.

Good seeing you this weekend, albeit briefly and with NO JD AND COKE WHICH IS HORRIBLY WRONG.

Get better soon, and update.
